In reality it is a visual checklist for everything your organization knows about your idea and ultimately the users that will benefit from hiring your product. The IdeaMockup is at the same time a to-do list for everything you should know about what it takes to make your new idea a commercial success.<span id="more-9"></span></p>
<h2>IdeaMockup check-list</h2>
<ul>
<li>a visualization of the product idea (in-vision)</li>
<li>a description of the product idea and how it is used (in-use)</li>
<li>a description of what is necessary to realize the idea (in-deed)</li>
<li>a description of the business opportunity (in-numbers)</li>
</ul>
<h3>in-vision</h3>

All other components of the IdeaMockup build upon these images. While there are many unresolved issues in the design at this point there is still enough information to describe the product as a business case.</p>
<p>The <span style="text-decoration: underline;">in-vision</span> component should visually indicate branding, as well as the user experience including some of the actual user interface.</p>
<h3>in-use</h3>

Most importantly it describes how the product idea matches the unmet user needs in the market.</p>
<p>How well the product actually does the jobs users hire it to do will be investigated later in the concept phase, but for now we will make do with a description of how the product functions without any user input.</p>
<h3>in-deed</h3>

<p>A quick indication of the cost of building and manufacturing the product idea as well as the skills necessary to accomplish success are important for judging the business potential of your idea.</p>
<h3>in-numbers</h3>

How big is the market, how many potential users can we satisfy unmet needs? Does our price compare to the perceived value the users are willing to pay for?</p>
<p>Finally, is the opportunity, if delivered within the targeted time frame large enough to outweigh the risks?</p>
